How it all started...
North End... we are Celebrating more than 65 Years of Ministry and Service.
North End was started by Reverend Melvin L. Eidson and his wife, Arzola. They came from Cullman, Alabama to Michigan, where he worked in a factory. He had a burden to start a church in the North end of Flint. The mission was sponsored by Central Baptist Church of Flint. The mission began in a little brick building on the corner of Verdun and York Avenue on July 31, 1955. North End Baptist Church was constituted as a church on February 5, 1956, with 30 charter members. The church called Rev. Melvin Eidson as its first pastor. In October 1964, the church bought property and built its new building in the Beecher District, on the corner of Fairhaven and Princeton Streets. The church grew over the years, and is now located at G-7360 N. Clio Road, in Mount Morris.

Expanding the vision...
In the Book of James, it speaks of believers being "doers" of the Word and not just "hearers." Doers, Do! We at North End, "Do", plain and simple. A cowboy from Arkansas once said, "you can't sorta ride a horse." Well you can't sorta trust God either, you have to be all in! Are you all in? We are a Great Commission church, we Know, Grow & Go! It's more than a catchy saying for us, it's what God has called us to be and do. We live out our faith outside these 4 walls, loving, serving and meeting needs.
Where we are headed...
"Glocal" is where we are headed! Globally and Locally!
We are headed down the street to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and we're also off to spread the gospel around the globe.
Where are you headed?
Won't you join us on the Mission field that is Genesee County and also Globally?
You complete us! You are needed, wanted, valued and loved!
