Leadership

Jon has served in the local church in family and youth ministry for over two decades and is committed to building strong, spiritual foundations in families. Jon is passionate about reaching people where they are and helping them to take the next step in their relationship with Jesus through discipleship. He and his wife Michele have been married 24 years and have 5 children and 2 grandchildren. 3 of their children still reside at home, Keegan, Ian and Kai. Jon is an avid sports fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Michigan Wolverines and loves spending time with family and friends.

The purpose of a deacon is to minister, serve, and assist the pastor and staff.  The office of Deacon can also be seen as an Elder and they are to devote themselves to prayer and the Word. The Deacons are also to help in the oversight of the Church, teaching the Word and tending the flock of God in this Church. The qualifications of a Deacon are listed in 1Timothy 3:8-13.
