Jon Locke

Senior Pastor

Jon has served in the local church in family and youth ministry for over two decades and is committed to building strong, spiritual foundations in families. Jon is passionate about reaching people where they are and helping them to take the next step in their relationship with Jesus through discipleship. He and his wife Michele have been married 24 years and have 5 children and 2 grandchildren. 3 of their children still reside at home, Keegan, Ian and Kai. Jon is an avid sports fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Michigan Wolverines and loves spending time with family and friends.

Ben Bauer

Youth Pastor

Joining the staff in 2015, Ben is passionate about sharing the love of Jesus Christ with youth and preparing youth to share their love of Christ with others. Prior to joining the staff, Ben has been a long-time member of North End, growing up in the Mount Morris area and attending local schools. Ben is a graduate of the University of Michigan-Flint, and currently pursuing a seminary degree at Midwestern Baptist. Ben loves to root on the Michigan Wolverines when they take to the turf for football or when they take to the hardwood for basketball.

Gaylynne Chaney

Worship Director

Gaylynne has served as a Music Educator in public and private education for 20+ years.  She received her BME from University of Michigan-Flint, and Masters in Educational Leadership from Eastern Michigan University.
 
She has served North End in a variety of ways including Worship Leader, Music Director, Accompanist, Audio/Visual Team Leader, VBS facilitator, Children's Ministries educator and various other roles.  Gaylynne enjoys family life with her husband of 25 years and 2 sons.  Gaylynne enjoys outdoor activities, reading books, technology and cooking.  North End remains her passion and outlet for her love of Jesus Christ.  "To Know My Christ and Make Him Known" (through music and relationships) is her motto for life!

Matt Allen

Head Deacon

The purpose of a deacon is to minister, serve, and assist the pastor and staff.  The office of Deacon can also be seen as an Elder and they are to devote themselves to prayer and the Word. The Deacons are also to help in the oversight of the Church, teaching the Word and tending the flock of God in this Church. The qualifications of a Deacon are listed in 1Timothy 3:8-13.
